BIO-REPLENISHMENT FOR BONE HEALTH, written by leading researcher Dr. AS Naidu, is a preamble to the Bio-Replenishment Theory and a comprehensive view of the most happening system in the human body- the skeleton.

This “science simplified” reference volume takes you on a colorful and illustrated journey through seven chapters that elucidate the key functions, metabolic demands, and dysfunctional states involving the bone. It also highlights established and emerging research, as well as the cumulative effects of genetics, chemistry, and lifestyle on the skeletal system.

Complete with 247 pages of authoritative text, illustrations, charts and tables, BIO-REPLENISHMENT FOR BONE HEALTH is a must read for individuals who are interested in learning and understanding  the functions of the bone, as well as the multitude of factors and interventions that play a role in bone health.

BIO-REPLENISHMENT FOR BONE HEALTH (Bio-Rep Education Series Volume 756) takes you through seven comprehensive chapters that cover the following:

CHAPTER 1: BIO-REPLENISHMENT THEORY
In the simplest of terms, Bio-Replenishment is the innate ability of a living organism to continuously refill its expended (depleted) chemicals that are vital for homeostasis.  Chapter one takes a summary look at this emerging theory and highlights the body’s unique ability to work as a self-regulating system.

CHAPTER 2: SKELETAL SYSTEM
Bone is a dynamic living tissue; in fulfilling its vital metabolic functions, the entire human skeleton is expended and eventually replaced every 7 years. Chapter 2 takes you on a stunning visual journey through the architecture, shape and physiological structure of the bone.

CHAPTER 3: BONE METABOLISM
Bone metabolism is an exclusive mineral management process. It is vital for body functions, such as bowel movement, heart beat/blood flow, nerve impulse, and liver and kidney performance. In this chapter, you will learn about how the bone remodeling and how mineral content is managed within the skeletal system.

CHAPTER 4: BONE FUNCTIONS
The bone is not just a framework that moves the body; it is a “mineral bank” that runs day-to-day production of blood cells and regulates several internal systems. Chapter 4 takes you through the various functions of the bone, from regulating heartbeat to enabling hearing.

CHAPTER 5: BONE DISEASES
Genetics, diet, environment and lifestyle all influence the health of the bone. This chapter samples some the major bone and joint disorders which cause impaired function of the bone and takes a research-based look at their causes.

CHAPTER 6: BONE REPLENISHMENT
The refilling of depleted bone mass, also known as bone turnover, requires an organized “internal engineering” program, supported by regulators, processors, transporters and builders. This chapter highlights the key players in this program, which are collectively known as bio-replenishments.

CHAPTER 7: BONE HEALTH
In this chapter, you will learn about the vitamins and minerals that play a role in maintaining the skeletal system. You will also learn about the factors (lifestyle, diet, drugs, etc) that can disrupt the integrity of the bone.

“A multi-cellular organism is like a network of computers. It requires an efficient ‘server’, especially while operating human systems with billions or trillions of cells. The nervous system and the hormonal system are two important network hubs.” Page 10
“The Rate-of-Living Theory takes a pragmatic approach that if one is going to live fast and hard, life will be short. The engine in a race car, run at full throttle, is lucky to last a full day. On the other hand, engines that are driven carefully, at modest RPM, (with regular maintenance and oil filter changes), can last for years.” Page 15
“Bone health is a challenge to maintain, since the skeleton is simultaneously serving two opposite functions that are in direct competition.” Page 108
